English conversations led by Amelia Górecka

About me
I have been speaking English since I was a kid. I had first started learning in kindergarten and then continued even more intensively and extensively in primary school. At only 14 years old I passed the Cambridge Advanced English exam which put me at the C1 level. Sine then I only continued to improve. I did the world-known and extremely demanding International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme [IBDP], which taught me how to think critically and outside of the box. Two of the subjects I did on my diploma, English A [English as a first language] and Visual Arts, came in especially handy later in both my Bachelor’s and Master's degree. I lived and studied abroad for 3 years: 2 years in Berlin and 1 year in London. It was during that time that my accent has improved drastically. I have graduated with a Master of Arts degree from MetFilm School London (University of West London).
After so many years of speaking English I consider it my first language and myself a native speaker.
In my private life I am a huge Formula 1 enthusiast, as well as an avid fantasy reader.
The offer
Having spent so much time learning English, I know that the most important aspects of learning a new language is speaking and listening to it as much as possible. A lot of people who learn new languages say they understand majority of what is said to them, but they have trouble replying and/or forming new sentences. Therefore, my “lesson” would essentially be a long conversation, its aim to help people overcome the mental barrier and be more confident when speaking English. I can also help prepare for public speeches, presentations and performances [including working on clarity and accent if needed]. Additionally I can help prepare for oral exams (like the baccalaureate or Cambridge English Exams).
The offer is addressed to companies and individuals, mainly who already have a basic knowledge of english and would like to improve it.
